DAAD is the main source of scholarships for international students, including master's and doctoral awards. The Deutschlandstipendium pays €300 a month to high-achieving students at participating universities. Political foundations (Heinrich Böll, Konrad Adenauer, Friedrich Ebert and others) fund graduate study.
