CANADA · CHAPTER 16

Staying in Canadaafter graduation.

Apply for a PGWP within 180 days of completing your programme. Degree graduates need CLB 7 and face no field-of-study restriction; college graduates need CLB 5 and an eligible field. A master's of at least eight months can lead to a three-year PGWP. Canadian work experience then supports PR through Express Entry or provincial programmes.
